Skyrim Director Teases His Ideas For Some Interesting New Content

I hate to admit it, but I have yet to play Skyrim…Not because I don’t think it will be great or that I do not buy all of the hype and excitement surrounding the game, but because I know that odds are good that I will fall in love with the game and lose myself within the game play and story line. It seems as if Bethesda understands this fear, but isn’t content without me playing and is thinking about adding some new content to make my resistance even harder.

At the 2012 D.I.C.E. (Design, Innovate, Create, Entertain) Summit in Las Vegas, Skyrim’s Director revealed some interesting facts about the game, it’s players, and ways he thinks the game can evolve:

■The average gamer plays the game for roughly 75 hours
■10 million copies of the game have been sold for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 since November
■Bethesda is experimenting with implementing “Dragon mounts, mounted combat, dramatic camera angles for kills using magic or ranged weapons and Kinect support for spells and Dragon shouts…” into the game in the future (as either updates or DLC).
So, what I am hearing is that not only will I be able to kill dragons with sword and skill, but I might also be able to ride dragons and shout FUS RO DAH at my television with devastating effect? Where is my wallet!?
